Lions lead, 7-0, 6:36 left in 1st Quarter

They hit us with a couple draw plays and a big TE screen on the 1st possession, but we held them to a punt. GREAT PUNT by Nick Harris, to pin us down at the 12 on our 1st possession…after two short running plays, Detroit all-out blitzes us and sacks Cutler at the 8, forcing a punt…Detroit’s returner weaves a 19-yard punt return and the Lions start their second possession at our 38…overall, I would say the Bears’ defense looks flat, getting pushed around alot and missing tackles. Drew Stanton scrambles for the second time on the drive, and scores to put the Bears in a 7-0 hole early…

Yeah that rinky dinky shit won’t last long. Just scored and I suspect thats the last lead for the Lions the rest of the way. Still I wasn’t very happy with the tackling the first two drives. Martz did a great job adjusting to the defensive game plan by Schwartz on the second drive. Now its the defenses turn to do the same thing.

    • my concern is not only the missed tackles, but we seem to be out of position alot…and these trick plays are annoying the heck out of me.
