Injury Report, Bears @ Vikings
For the Bears, it was a full go at practice on Friday. After missing practice on Thursday, CB Charles Tillman returned; and both OLB Pisa Tinoisamoa and RB Chester Taylor practiced with no limitations after being limited on Thursday. So it looks like unless the coaching staff wants to err on the side of caution with any of these three, we should have all 53 men on our roster ready to go on Monday night. It would be especially nice to have Tinoisamoa back at full strength, as we will probably get a heavy dose of Peterson-Gerhart with a rookie QB-turned-WR-turned-QB -again starting at QB for the Vikings.
It was a far different story for the Vikings, who put backup QB Tavaris Jackson and CB Chris Cook on IR earlier this week. QB Brett Favre, OG Steve Hutchinson, RB Adrian Peterson, S Jamarca Sanford, and S Tyrell Johnson all missed practice for the second consecutive day; and DE Ray Edwards was limited for the second straight day. It looks increasingly likely that rookie 3rd-string QB Joe Webb, who is nursing a tender hamstring of his own, will get his first career NFL start; although we will know a little better on Saturday, as the injury reports do not have to be completed until then for Monday night games.
UPDATE: For the Bears, Pisa Tinoisamoa is out, and Roach will start in his place. For the Vikings, Brett Favre has been upgraded to quesitonable; Steve Hutchinson has been placed on IR.
